All submissions for airplay must be sent on a compact disc (CD). Make sure it is an audio formatted disc and not a data disc. You need to include a track list as well for the piece that you would like to promote.Also, you need to print, sign, and enclose our Materials Release Form, found at www. party934. com/en/material_release_form. doc

Added: 2008-12-20 | | Description: MEG-A MUSIC TORONTO has been created by Mary-Elizabeth Gilbert, someone who LOVES music. I have taken up songwriting and I am beginning to work on a debut CD. As any musician knows, this is no easy task, there are many steps to the process and it won't happen overnight. I thought as I learned the process, I would share it with others too.
Just after joining MySpace in 2006 to support the band of a friend of mine, I discovered a whole new world of music I never knew about and fell in love with so many bands and people in such a short time. There is so much talent out here that you never hear about, in particular Indie Bands. Already I have heard so many new and existing artists that I love and discover more each day. I am truly amazed with the music being showcased on MySpace.
The idea of MEG-A MUSIC TORONTO is to promote Indie bands either playing in Toronto or the Toronto area. Whether you are a musician located right here in Toronto or coming to Toronto or the surrounding area to play, I want to know about it. Promote your music right here. Leave a comment and guide someone to your music today. I also like to promote Canadian independent music in general, so come on in and lets have some fun!

Hello friends,
at this point I would like to introduce myself.
I've been working in the music branch for quite a long while - with some intermissions, but for 25 years now.
After my apprenticeship as a paralegal in 1983, I worked with Sony Music, former CBS, in Frankfurt.
Fundamentally, I worked with national and international artists, supervising them and lending them a hand as an assistant in the product management.
From 1986 to 1993 I was employed and engaged at the W.D.Warren Company / TVG, a pretty big sound carrier sales department, in the area of purchase. At that time W.D.Warren & TVG was the direct rival of WOM (Music).
There I was, among other things, responsible for the purchases and the design of a weekly, internal newspaper about news, deadlines and special features of the music market. Additionally I arranged and organized autograph sessions for customers.
After the birth of my daughter and the the company's sale, I went back to my profession as an office manager at an attorney's office.
Myspace got me in touch with music again.
Now, after some consideration, I work independently and for myself, and I cooperate closely and intimately with worldwide artists - also with producers, record companies and operators.

She recorded and released her debut album "Poet" independently with partner, Jason English in February of 2008 to an overall positive response. She went on to also have her music included on the soundtracks of both low and high budget independent films. Also an actress, she has acted in a few independent films that have gone to film festivals and have been released to DVD. Tiffany also writes for the indie mini-zine, Vinilian Press and is currently at work on her second album. She has appeared on several compilation CDs and DVDs.
